J'ADORE GRAND CENTRAL STATION!

Just a few images of the glorious train station which we took this past Sunday on our way up to Stamford, Connecticut! J'Adore!

J'ADORE ALCOHOLIC LUNCHES!

Our other favorite thing to do besides going to the beach is to drink ourselves silly with friends over lunch. Last week, we were able to do this with two of our most favorite people in the world, Ms. Simone Bent, pictured above, and Mr. Darryl Gibson, below.

Oh, if only we could share with you the secrets that were spilled after the second bottle of wine, but it would get one too many celebrities, a hotelier, a creative director and a few of our closest friends into way too much trouble, but if you really want to know, just email us!

After we left Simone and Darryl, we were off to meet our oldest friend in world, Ms. Tricia Benitez, for dinner. But we had a few hours to kill, so we swung by the Chateau Marmont for a quick double espresso to sober up. There, we ran into another friend, Ms. Joy Bryant, who was enjoying an alcoholic lunch of her own. We hung out with her for a bit and reminisced of our days together working in fashion photography back in the late 90s. Ugh. How old do we feel right now???

Our next stop on the alcoholic train was the famed Mexican restaurant, El Cholo. Above you'll see that we're not the only ones who like a little bit of the sauce during the day.

A sneak peek inside the tacky eatery! Please note the traditional Mexican garb of the hostess behind the front desk! J'Adore!

We really shouldn't have been driving home after all that we imbibed that day, but what were we going to do? Sleep on a park bench? Haven't done that since our teens!

J'ADORE EL MATADOR!

One of our most favorite beaches in all of Los Angeles is El Matador State Beach. It's one of the city's hidden gems located about one mile passed Zuma beach. It's isolated, tranquil and serene, and the beach has very limited parking which in turn limits the number of people on its gorgeous sands.

The beauty of this beach is all the massive rock formations which stand free in the water and and which jut out from the cliff in turn dividing the beach into three secluded sections. It's these secluded stretches of beach that draw nude sunbathers and freaks alike!

On the day we visited, we were the only ones on the second beach. We felt like were on an episode of LOST. We kept an eye out for Desmond, but he never showed up.

Around 1:00pm, we were joined by the most unexpected little visitor! A baby seal just pulled up out of the ocean and plopped down for some much deserved sunbathing and relaxation.

We went in for a closer look, and baby seal freaked out just a bit. He thought we were going to pull out our club and beat him over the head. We are in need of some seal skin pants, but we're not looking to go out and hunt for them on the beach. We'll just swing by Gucci next week.

J'ADORE TIME OFF!

Hey, Bitches! What's going on? We've really missed you over here at the J'Adore Joey offices. We took a couple of weeks off and went to visit our family out in Los Angeles. It was truly J'Adorable except for the fact that our father tried to switch phone companies which left us without internet for the entire two weeks that we were out there!!! Hence, no postings for your enjoyment. We're back now (again) and enjoying having our days free to play, to organize and to just be our J'Adorable selves...

J'ADORE BRAD FISHER TOWN!

We're not going to ask if you remember our good friend and artist extraordinaire, Brad Fisher, because by now, we know you're almost sick of hearing about him. We mean, if we post one more thing about how amazing he is, we're gonna give OURSELVES a big Je N'Adore Pas!

But due to his recent popularity via his gorgeous photo in the April issue of GQ and the glowing write up on him in the June issue of OUT Magazine, we've been receiving a tremendous onslaught of emails asking us for more information about Brad and his work.

So.....we want to introduce you all to his brand new online home, Brad Fisher Town.

Yes, it's still under construction, but it's on its way to becoming the one stop shop for all things Brad Fisher. Now, all you bitches can stop harassing US and start harassing him! J'Adore!

J'ADORE BEING FREE!

You know when you're stuck in one of those dead end jobs where, even though you're doing good work, you just feel suffocated and totally stagnant?

Well, we just left ours after 5 years! J'ADORE! We are so excited. No regrets. No looking back. Only an amazing future waiting ahead.

Our good friend Brad emailed us this morning saying, "FLY, MONKEY! FLY!" And that's just what we're going to do...
