We're finding that travel nowadays SUCKS our massive J'Adorable.  What's even more annoying is when we're unable to get the upgrade we were promised due to all the complications with our airline this week.

So we were giving the business section a huge JE N'ADORE PAS today when we got on the plane because it looked like a fucking nursery!  There were more kids than adults in our business class seats, and they were ALL under 9 years old!  Why does a baby need it's own seat???

To add insult to injury, we saw these two little bitches sitting in business on their MAC computers playing their games and asking for refills on their cranberry vodka drinks.  Okay.  Maybe there wasn't any vodka up in there, but still!  We were bitter.  Major!

Sometimes, we can't figure out Los Angeles to save our lives, and then there are times when it makes more sense than ever before. We don't think we have to explain this photo.  If you've been to Los Angeles, you'll get it.  If you haven't been to Los Angeles, Congratulations!

You know how much we've been annoyed by American Airlines. Actually, no you haven't because we've never told you what a crappy airline it is.  Well, yesterday, we went all the way to the airport only to be informed that our flight was canceled.  We should have called, but we didn't.  Now, we're stuck in LA, and all we want to do is get home.  Please bear with us while we try to figure out how to telepathically J'Adore ourselves back to NYC.

We totally woke up today looking and feeling like this "baby".  We really shouldn't have had that seventh vodka soda.  UGH. Hangovers are NOT fun!

We want you to meet Bulgarian Idol phenomenon, Valentina Hasan, who can't "tulibu dibu douchoo".  She "Ken Lee....Ken Lee meju more!"  We J'adore her major.

Clearly, she had just bailed out on her sister's wedding and ran straight to the auditions!  That maid of honor dress is Bulgarian J'Adoration incarnate!

How much do you J'Adore this photo?  It's a candy representation of our Saturday nights on the weekly!  J'Adore!  We can't wait to get back to NYC so we can get back up on our pole!

Sunday, March 16, 2008

Oh, J'Adorables!  It's 4:00am on a Saturday night, well, Sunday morning, really, and usually, this is about when we begin to think it might be time to go home, but right now, we ARE home. Actually, we just woke up because we have a very early flight to go home to see the family.

It's the mom's bday and it's Easter so we're going to chill in the land of silicone, tacos and all around shallowness.  Sorry, Angelenos.  You know we love you, but sometimes, you just make it so difficult.  Pick up the New York Times every now and then! Try to learn something about what's going on in other parts of the world!

We're going to do our best to keep you updated with our J'Adorable adventures, but we're not promising anything.

Beware The Ides of March!  That's what a soothsayer once said to Julius Caesar warning him of his impending death.  He eventually was murdered during a senate meeting he called on that day, depicted above by Vincenzo Camuccini in 1798.

In the Roman Calendar, the ides refer to the 15th day of the months of March, May, July and October and the 13th day for the other months.

In OUR calendar, it refers to the birthday of our most J'Adorable friend, Billy Farrell.  We're sending birthday J'Adoration his way today.  You might want to as well.

There are so many reasons we love this song.  The ridiculous medieval theme.  The childhood memories.  STEVE PERRY'S VOICE!!!  It's an epic win in every sense of the word!  We were having a Journey moment this morning and wanted to share.

On a side note, the location where this video is filmed is one of the most beautiful buildings in Downtown Los Angeles, right across the street from Echo Park.  Back in 1994, we went to one of the craziest raves there.  Imagine that staircase covered in club kids trying to make their way up in 2' platform shoes while under the influence of the finest MDMA the time had to offer.

We had such a good time that night, we're surprised we even remember it to share with you.  J'Adore!

If you guys are on Facebook, you'll probably have seen or played a game called Scrabulous.  It's basically Scrabble for the web, and it's GENIUS!  We suggest you play.  That's all we have to say because we have shit to playing Scrabulous.

So you know how much we J'Adore our boy Michael K over at DListed!  He does this thing where he posts a funny picture, and readers leave comments "captioning" the picture.  Well, yesterday for the first time ever, we left a caption, and guess what, Bitches???   WE TOTALLY WON!  You have to click the link and check it out.  So funny.  We're strangely proud.  It's a good feeling to win, but we're TOTALLY used to it.

We are so over the moon this morning!  And by this morning, we mean 3:00am, because that's when we saw the cover of the New York Times Thursday Styles section because we couldn't sleep because we were so sick but you already knew that because we told you already.  Ugh.  We're rambling, and we're not even drunk on our rum tea!

ANYWAY, what we're so excited about is that the New York Times ran this story today about Opening Ceremony down at 35 Howard Street in Soho which is owned by one of our oldest friends in the world, the most fabulous, Carol Lim.

Carol first fell in love with us in the 7th grade.  We think it was our Hypercolor sweatshirt and acid washed jeans which we used to fold over and roll the cuffs so that they wouldn't hide our British Knights high tops.  We like to think that it was OUR incredible sense of style that helped lead Carol down the road to opening the HOTTEST fashion mecca in the world!  But that's just us.  We're narcissists, and we're not apologizing!

If you haven't been to Opening Ceremony, go TODAY, and tell Carol that J'Adore Joey sent you.  She might just refuse you service!  J'Adore!

On this day in 1781, British astronomer Frederick William Herschel discovered Uranus.  J'Adore discovering Uranus! Whenever we discover Uranus, we get a little warm tingly feeling inside.  We have a very special bond with Uranus.  It's the only part of the celestial body that welcomes us with open arms! But we have a question.  Why is Uranus red?  Hahaha.  We could go on and on....but Uranus couldn't handle it.  Hahaha.  We're DYING over here.  Uranus makes us laugh.

Who knew being sick would bring out all the J'Adorables!  You guys are SOOOO SWEET!  Our phone has been ringing off the hook with get well wishes ever since we posted the below!  From Brad Fisher to Aaron Newbill to Madonna and George Michael to Fidel Castro to Magdalena Wrobel and Bonjour PeeWee, and we could have sworn we saw the ghost of Coco Chanel appear before our bed earlier today, but we could have just been dreaming!

Any J'adore, we just want to thank you so much!  We J'Adore you too!

You Guys!  We are SOOOO sick right now!  It SUCKS!  The shivering.  The fever.  The sweats.  We called our mom because what else do grown men do but call their Mommies when they don't feel well?  She told us to put some brandy in our tea.  We told her that we only had a dark rum in the house.  She said that would work.  We said OKAY!!!  J'Adore alcoholism at 11am!

We're totally buzzed right now.  Can you tell?  Were we a bit too heavy handed with the rum? Who cares!  Party at our house! Woo Hoo!

We feel terrible.  We really do.  We've completely ignored you while feeding you videos just to make sure you didn't feel totally abandoned.  We know.  We're really bad J'Adorables.

This past week was a whirlwind of parties, work, events and all around debaucherous fun!  But in the process, we feel like we've totally imprisoned ourselves in this world of extreme glamour, and we just want to dig a hole in the concrete wall and break free like in The Shawshank Redemption.

Anyway, we have one more week with you and then we're off to sunny Los Angeles where we'll be coming at you live from our poolside!

We know you totally remember our hot ass friend, Gabby Mejia, from Art Frazzle in 2006.  How could you not?  The other day, she emailed with a fab little project which she's pulling together called CLEAVAGE.

CLEAVAGE is an art book that will serve to increase awareness about breast cancer, to raise funds for research of alternative methods of testing like breast thermography and to help assist those young women who are in need of testing but who do no have health insurance.

She's calling all artists, designers, authors and creative types for submissions of their work  for inclusion in the book.  If you're interested in being involved and having your work included, you can email us or email Camp Cleavage directly!

Brad Fisher, this has your name all over it!!!

Holy shit!  And when we say holy, we totally mean it!  Breitbart picked up this story from AFP which has Benny Shanon, a professor of cognitive psychology, stating that Moses was tripping his balls off when he claimed to have seen the burning bush and when he said he spoke to God on Mount Sinai.

He says that psychedelics were an integral part of religious ceremonies during Biblical times and that the bark of the acacia tree, which is frequently mentioned in the Bible, has psychedelic effects!

DAMN!  We totally want to trip with Moses!  Can you even imagine THAT conversation?

"Dude, Moses...part the sea again!  Oh, SHIT!  That's CRAZY! Do it again! Again! Again!"

A new Obama video was released yesterday.  We prefer the first one, but this one is really good too! And our favorite part? Our friends Troy & Simone are in it. You can see them at 1:16. Obama! Obama! Obama!
