It's a cold and rainy day here in New York, and we were coming back from the bank when we totally passed this little Thai place, and we got hit with a MASSIVE craving for Tom Yum soup! We prefer Tom Yum Gai (made with chicken) but pictured above is Tom Yum Goong (made with shrimp).

Aside from being the most popular soup in Thailand, Tom Yum supposedly has amazing health benefits too, thanks in part to its very potent combination of herbs and spices which include Kaffir lime leaves, lemon grass, galangal, shallots, tamarind and crushed chilis! J'Adore! Go out and get some Tom Yum right now!
