It is being reported today by The Times of London, that artist Damien Hirst has sold his diamond masterpiece entitled For the Love of God for $100 million to an investment group which is requesting to stay anonymous. The piece is the skull of a man who died in the 18th or 19th century, and it is encrusted in over 8,500 ethically sourced diamonds!This is the HIGHEST price ever paid for a piece by a living artist! We don't have the breath to even whispher J'Adore!
